TSC Volunteers Needed for Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon
We are in need of volunteers. For the past several years, the Tempe Sister Cities Volunteers have participated in the Rock ‘N’ Roll Arizona Marathon. No! No! We don’t run in the marathon. We serve beer, to the runners, at the end of the race. Each runner is allowed one free beer and we sell beer to all spectators of legal age. This years event is SUNDAY, JANUARY 15, 2012 and we need volunteers for two shifts: 8AM-Noon or 11AM to 3PM. The event usually generates about $5,000 which benefits our summer student exchange program.
