A Swedish Feast and Cultural Event

Experience traditions and cuisine from one of Tempe’s Sister Cities – Trollhättan, Sweden.
Lianne Falk, Chef and a resident of Sweden returns to the Hackett House patio. Lianne has lived and worked in 9 countries and 4 continents.
Chef Falk has worked with many discerning clients including international airlines delivering her culinary skills.
Menu:
A traditional salad; a Swedish Smörgåsbord (did you know the Smorgasbord originated in Sweden?); a main of roasted salmon and traditional köttbullar (meatballs) – both in a delectable sauce; and a traditional dessert of Äppelkaka – a rich glazed cake with apples, almonds.
Included are a signature cocktail – a Swedish Holiday – made with Roxx Vodka – a sponsor – and an additional beverage of choice (beer, wine, soft drinks). There will be the option of purchasing additional beverages.
Enjoy the meal and experience the traditions, language, and culture of Sweden.
Note: The proceeds of the dinner go to benefit Tempe Sister Cities in their 50 year legacy of educating students and adults about the world around us. A sampling of the programs include student, educator, and professional exchanges with our Sister Cities around the world.
